IN ACTION...
In High School, Boo Buie was a sure fire Division 1 Player. The question was, what level of Division 1 would he end up at. He was never someone we worried about having success, because despite being 6'2" as a PG, he worked extremely hard, and above all was a winner.
​
The summer before his senior year of High School, Boo had a handful of offers, the highest being a school in the Atlantic -10 (which shall remain nameless lol). After much thought, Boo decided to call the coaches and accept the offer. However, when he did so, the coaching staff told him that they needed more time to evaluate his game. Shocked and confused, that next weekend he flew out to California with the Mass Rivals AAU team. he dominated and was offered a schoalrship from Northwestern University in the Big Ten.

Boo eventually accepted the offer and the rest is history. He went on to be an NCAA All-American, lead Northwestern to the NCAA Tournament, be 1st team all-big ten in consecutive seasons, and in 2024 signed a 2-way contract with the New York Knicks.
​
That is the epitome of NEXT SHOT mentality. Something doesn't go your way, use it - feel it, but find your next solution. Imagine what you can do with that same mentality!!
